Praxis Test Information
Passing scores on the Praxis I Pre-Professional Skills Test (PPST) or Praxis I Computer Pre-Professional Skills Test (CPPST) and the Praxis II: Subject Assessment Test, are required for entry into the Master of Arts in Teaching Program. P.A.C.E. students do not take the Praxis II Subject Assessment Test for admission requirements to the P.A.C.E. program.
The Praxis I consists of three parts: reading, writing and mathematics. This test may be taken at your local Sylvan Learning Center or at a scheduled testing site near you. The Praxis II is only administered at specific times and dates and requires advanced registration.
You many register and find study guides for the tests online at www.ets.org/praxis (select Mississippi in the drop down box), and there are numerous study guides available at local book stores, allowing you to find the one that best fits your study needs.
